Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has provided a financial assistance of ₹5 lakh to a visually-challenged young woman who sought help for her marriage.
R. Nagamani, a resident of Rallabuduguru in Kuppam mandal, has congenital visual impairment. Despite her challenges, with self-confidence, determination, and the support of her parents, she pursued her education and completed her MA. However, due to her problem and her family’s financial struggles, it became difficult to arrange her marriage.
Understanding the difficult circumstances faced by the family, Bhupathi, a young man from Venkatapuram village in Shantipuram mandal, came forward to marry her. Recently, Ms. Nagamani, along with Mr. Bhupathi, met the Chief Minister seeking financial assistance for their wedding.
Responding to her request, the Chief Minister announced a financial aid of ₹5 lakh to cover the wedding expenses. Ms. Nagamani met the Chief Minister and received the cheque.
