TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu urged the Chief Ministers of various States to provide free land for the construction of Lord Venkateswara temples in their respective capital cities.
Acting on the directives of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the TTD Chairman formally addressed request letters, emphasizing the spiritual and social significance of temples.
In his letter, the TTD Chairman highlighted that temples are not mere places of worship but vital centres that play a crucial role in societal development. Temple tourism also significantly contributes to national growth, with more people turning towards spirituality. He aspired that every State capital and other important cities should have at least one temple of Lord Venkateswara in their region.
He further said that the temple funds generously contributed by the devotees are utilized for various service initiatives, including education and healthcare and emphasized their pivotal role in preserving our culture and heritage.
