The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Thursday inspected the arrangements for the grand conduct of the annual ‘Brahmotsavam’ at Vontimitta Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in YSR Kadapa district.
The annual festival, which is a major event in the temple’s calendar, attracts scores of devotees from across the region, and is set to commence on April 6 and continue till April 15.
Speaking on the occasion, Chowdary said that the event will feature ‘Sri Rama Navami’ coupled with ‘Dhwajarohanam’ on April 6 and the State festival of ‘Sri Sitarama Kalyanam’ on April 11. He directed the officials to complete development works within the stipulated time to ensure a seamless experience for the devotees.
The Additional EO also instructed officials to decorate the Kalyana Vedika venue, considering the participation of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He also inspected various facilities, including the seating arrangements in the galleries, german sheds that will protect devotees from the scorching heat, ‘annadanam’ and electrical illuminations.
Joint Executive Officer (JEO) Veerabrahmam, Chief Engineer (CE) Satyanarayana, Superintendent Engineer (Electrical) Venkateswarlu, and Deputy Executive Officer P.V. Natesh Babu were among others present.
