Telangana CM wants drone survey to be extended to ORR, gives go ahead to flyovers at 7 junctions

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has asked the officials of Municipal Administration and Urban Development to extend the drone survey as was done in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s purview, to the area within the Outer Ring Road, in order to develop it on a par with international standards.

Addressing an exhaustive meeting with the MA & UD, and GHMC officials, Mr. Revanth Reddy said details such as number of properties, water supply, power and sewerage infrastructure should be obtained through the survey. The details would help in providing necessary infrastructure in the residential areas across the city without hindrances, he said.

He asked the officials to prepare detailed plans for revival of lakes and expansion of stormwater drains. According a go ahead for construction of flyovers at seven junctions where the traffic flow is high, Mr. Revanth Reddy asked the officials to expedite the land acquisition and call tenders for the projects soon.
