The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has officially discontinued monitoring the PublicEye app, developed in collaboration with iChangeMyCity, and urged citizens to switch to the newly launched BTP ASTraM app for reporting traffic violations in the city.
In a statement issued on Thursday, BTP confirmed that the PublicEye app has been phased out and will no longer be functional for lodging complaints. The BTP ASTraM app, available both on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, will serve as the primary platform for reporting traffic violations, accessing real-time traffic updates and making fine payments.
The transition is aimed at providing an efficient and user-friendly experience while ensuring smoother public participation in traffic management.
