A 29-year-old man was hacked to death for having an illicit affair with a married woman in Shanti Nagar locality of Kalaburagi.
The deceased has been identified as Ahmed Fazal Shaikh.
Investigation has revealed that Ahmed Fazal Shaikh had an illicit affair with a married woman.
Following a quarrel over the issue, the woman’s husband, identified as Chandrashekar, attacked Ahmed Fazal Shaikh with weapons, leaving him severely injured.
Ahmed Fazal Shaikh was admitted to a private hospital. He failed to respond to treatment and breathed his last on Monday, the police said.
