Chief Minister to meet scientists in Kozhikode on February 15

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will hold a meeting with scientists and researchers working under the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE) here on February 15.

According to council officials, the event will be held at the Centre for Water Resource Development and Management at Kunnamangalam.

The main focus of the three-hour meeting is to gather opinion and insights from the scientific community that can shape the State’s science policy decisions.

It will also serve as a platform to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers from various scientific domains, encourage exchange of ideas, and develop new concepts.

Involving scientists directly in the policymaking process is expected to help translate research outcomes into practical solutions for real-life challenges, the officials added.
