Promotion of schoolteachers, their inter-district and intra-district transfers will be completed before schools reopen in June, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty has said.
At a press conference here on Thursday, the Minister said the higher secondary general transfer for 2025-26 will be completed in a time-bound manner within a month-and-a-half.
Director of General Education Shanavas S. said the National Informatics Centre had been tasked with the procedures related to the general transfer. Recently, a meeting chaired by the Minister decided to rope in Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE). Accordingly, the transfer would be completed in May itself.
