The finale of SRM University-A.P.’s four-day techno-cultural fest INFINITUS’25 on Sunday (February 9) left an unforgettable impression on those who attended it.
The event, which celebrated a fusion of technology, culture and artistic brilliance, brought together a stellar line-up of performers and an enthusiastic crowd eager to immerse in the festivity. The final two days of the event witnessed a musical spectacle put together by renowned composer-performer duo Salim-Sulaiman Merchant, providing a perfect climax to the extravaganza.
The duo transformed the university campus into a grand concert arena with their soulful melodies and high-energy performances. Their chart-topping hits resonated with the crowd, who swayed to the rhythm, creating an atmosphere of sheer joy and musical ecstasy.
The cultural segment of INFINITUS’25 showcased an array of performances that kept the audience enthralled. If stand-up comedian Hoody had the crowd roaring with laughter with his witty humour and relatable anecdotes, renowned singer Ram Miryala delivered a mesmerising performance, serenading the audience with his soulful voice. The night reached a crescendo with DJ Akram setting the stage ablaze, ensuring that the celebration ended on a euphoric note.
The much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. Fresher competition was one of the festival’s highlights, celebrating the charisma, confidence and talent of the university’s newest batch. After a rigorous selection process, Aashir Aftab Md, a first-year B.Tech. student, and Pratyusha Karmakar, a first-year MBA student, were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Fresher, respectively.
There were also events like Tech Tales, Cyber Vogue, Cyber Sway, Cyber Tunes and Glitch Stage, which showcased the extraordinary skills of students, ranging from storytelling and fashion to dance, music and digital artistry.
