First Chief Minister of Jharkhand and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Babulal Marandi will be the Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Assembly.
On Thursday (March 6, 2025) Mr. Marandi was elected the leader of the BJP Legislative Party in the presence of central observers Bhupendra Yadav and National President of OBC Morcha, MP Dr. K. Laxman. Mr. Yadav made the formal announcement in Ranchi.
BJP’s Babulal Marandi, contested the State Assembly election of 2024 from the Dhanwar constituency and won the seat by 35, 438 votes.
